The Adam version
Adam was the first man in God's image and after His likeness, however he was not the first to be created from the red soil.
There were other versions of man (made from the red soil), but they did not have the opportunity to become and act exactly like God (likeness). They did not have the access to the mysteries and revelations to become like Him. Specifically referring to the power of the spoken word.
Although he was made from the red soil, this Adam version had the opportunity to behave exactly like God (likeness) - who was made of precious substance (Rev. 4:2-3). That is what set this Adam version apart from all of creation. For example, Michael can do things in the exact manner of God, in other words, he is in God's likeness, but he does not look (image) like God.
Freewill, it is a right available to most creatures, it was not reserved only this Adam version. Even the fallen angels and those that followed after them used their own freewill to rebel or disobey God. However, creation with the spoken word, is a power reserved solely for the Adam version. Most orders of angels are able to do things, but not to call them out.
Normally what is created from the earth is perishable, and according to the hierarchy of substance - worthless. However, the breath of life that God blew into the clay (man) he had formed, not only contained oxygen, but it was the very seed of God.
The Adam version's ability to call things into existence, is what annoyed Lucifer. He was no longer the only special thing in creation. Now there were creatures who were made of dust yet possessed the ability to become exactly like God, which Lucifer craved for. He on the other hand could not be in his image or even his likeness. He was a cherub, made to worship, not capable of love, as love was reserved only for the highest order of angels the seraphim. Yet, this Adam version had access to both worship and love.
Striking resemblance:
God said there be light, and there was light (Genesis 1:3).
Whatever man called a living creature, that was its name (Genesis 2:19).
The Adam version had the ability to do exactly what God did with the spoken word. Whatever they both said it was so.
Over the years even after the fall of man, the power of the spoken word remained accessible to those that believed and knew how to wield it.
None of the words of Samuel fell to the ground, in other words, whatever Samuel said, it was so. (1 Samuel 3: 19).
We too have the ability to call things into existence as if they were.
