Adam Croci – New Business Team Leader Toyota Financial Services
How long have you been a part of the Toyota family, and how did your journey begin with the?company?
I am coming up to my 10-year anniversary with Toyota in April 2025, and all I can say is that the time has flown by. I have always had a keen interest in cars and motorbikes since I was young, including having a motorbike in the garage, so working in the automotive industry was the perfect opportunity for me!
My journey began back in April 2015, joining as a New Business Executive, and by 2018, I had become the New Business Team Leader which is where I am today.
What is your role at TFS, and could you provide a glimpse into what a typical day looks like for you?
There is no such thing as a typical day in the New Business team as each day comes with its own uniqueness. The main roles of the team include the document verification & activation of customer contracts, assisting our extensive centre network via telephone and managing multiple inboxes.
As for myself, I have the pleasure of leading the New Business team alongside my colleague Sam Grimshaw to ensure a successful day meeting our daily SLA’s. Throughout the day we assist with queries, reports, and reconciliations surrounding payments to the centre network.
During my time here, it is safe to say that each day there is another new question asked!
Tell us about your most rewarding experience, or your favourite memory from your time so far at TFS?
This will most likely be a favoured memory for a lot of my colleagues here at TFS, but it has to be Craig David performing at our annual summer party in London, which came as a complete surprise to us all. When I was told he was on the stage, I didn’t believe anyone until I saw this for myself. It was a truly amazing night and clearly one to remember.
What advice would you give to someone starting their career at TFS?
TFS has given me a lot of time and opportunities over the years, and this is something that will always be appreciated.

Putting yourself forward for as many opportunities as possible, whether new to you, or out of your comfort zone, TFS are always there to support you. With the level of support offered, and if you dedicate your time to learn your role whilst expanding your knowledge of the business, you will quickly see why we love it here at TFS.
At TFS continuous improvement is essential. How does TFS support your growth and skill development?
TFS has a fantastic platform for every one of us to continuously improve both ourselves and the areas we work in. Personal growth can be seen directly from my success within my role since joining and has continued over the years to becoming an Ambassador for TWoW!. This allows me to have a wider perspective of the business, seeing what projects and TWoW! ideas are being planned, and how each department is improving.
I have seen first-hand the personal growth TFS has offered to my colleagues, and how successful they have become in their careers.
What does a perfect weekend look like for you?
Depending on the weather, I have recently started playing golf, so I take as many opportunities as possible to fit a round into my weekend. I also follow Arsenal FC so attend as many games as I can at the Emirates with my family. I wasn’t sure whether to disclose the team, but now we all know who I support!
Other than sport, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. This may sound like a busy weekend to some, but I assure you, there are plenty of those lazy Sundays which I am sure we all appreciate!
Although I wouldn’t describe this next part as the “perfect weekend”, I am hoping it will soon become that. A few weeks ago, my partner decided she wanted to go for a run…so along I went too. Some 8 weeks later and using the “Couch to 5k” app for a second time, we are progressing through this well and hope to be completing 5k park runs later this year in our local park and maybe even Tough Mudder next year.
What are you currently watching, reading or listening to?
A little late to the party, seeing as the last episode was way back on May 2017, but I am currently watching Prison Break. Having watched the first two seasons in one weekend, I’m working my way through Season 3. The Great British Bake Off has also just started so this is another weekly watch for me.
Who are the three people you would invite to your dream dinner party?
Jack Whitehall, Mary Berry and Chester Bennington – On the whole this would make a fantastic dinner party, with amazing music, delicious desserts and a laugh all the way through. And who knows, Jack might even bring his dad along for the journey.
