What inspires you to work with the X Infotech team?
I am inspired to see what incredible results in different countries our products can achieve, what changes they bring, and how the future IS now. And, of course, the endless amounts of knowledge my colleagues have.
What does your working day as a technical writer look like?
My working day is 50% asking questions and 40% waiting for answers. In the 10% of my working day that’s left I finally sit down and write - until I get more questions for tomorrow.
What do you prefer to do in your free time?
I am an introverted person and enjoy sitting somewhere with a Kindle or a cross-stitch kit. I am also a passionate ballet fan (so passionate that the Latvian National Ballet staff and troupe recognize me by face).
How does, in your opinion, an ideal working day look like?
A working day seems ideal, when everything goes as planned for you and for those you interact with, nothing unexpected happens and you have enough time for everything.
What's your favourite funny or motivational quote that keeps you going during the workday?
I'm not a motivational buzz kind of person, I just like getting things done, and this is what usually keeps me going.
What advice would you give our colleagues?
At work, stay curious. Stay intrigued. Solve working problems like Scooby-Doo solves mysteries and have fun.
