1H 2017 results

Plastic auto-parts producer AD Plastik (ADPLRA CZ) posted excellent 1H 2017 results showing improvement in top and bottom line. (Positive)

In 1H 2017, AD Plastik improved operating revenues by 3.7% yoy to HRK 531.3 mln. The Russian market is stabilizing, which shows a growth in operating revenues of 18.8% yoy in that market, while operating revenues on EU and Serbia market increased by 0.8% yoy. Euro exchange rate is not favorable for the Company’s business since the entire income was earned on export basis. At the same time, strengthening of Russian ruble had positive effect on the results. There has been a continuing trend of improving financial position, which is evident primarily through the reduction of credit indebtedness in the amount of HRK 65.5 mln in 1H 2017. EBITDA surged by 13.8% yoy to HRK 85.4 mln, while corresponding margin increased by 16.07%, affected by improvement of cost efficiency. Net profit for the first six months amounted to HRK 38.9 mln, which presents an increase of 38.3% yoy. In the observed period, the Company made new deals with Ford and Hella customers, worth over EUR 30 mln.
