Acumentice to launch mental health webinar series in June!
We are delighted to announce that we will be launching our first-ever series of webinars – focusing on mental health – from June.
The three-part series, which has the over-arching title of ‘How do we solve a problem like community mental health waiting times?’, will kick off on June 6 with a discussion about the importance of accurate waiting time measurements for mental health .
Hosted by Lynne Hunt, chair of Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and a highly experienced mental health professional, the first webinar will feature GP Alistair Hughes and Acumentice’s Principal Consultant Michael Watson (who has worked in mental health roles throughout his career, including seven years as a founder member of the NHS England Intensive Support Team for mental health). They will be talking about the key concepts and definitions of mental health waiting times and the current and upcoming standards designed to measure them.
We all know that demand for mental health services has increased exponentially in recent years, especially so since the pandemic. However, despite this increase in people seeking treatment, there still doesn't exist anywhere near the same measurement infrastructure or waiting times analysis that occurs for physical health.
In this webinar, we explore the datasets that do already exist, why these need to be improved and the impact that accurate measurements can have on service user outcomes.
There will also be a short 5-10 minute Q&A at the end of the webinar, where you can pick the brains of our experts.
We really look forward to you joining us. You can reserve your place by signing up here: Microsoft Virtual Events Powered by Teams .
