Acuff Q&A at Biola University

09.28.16 I had the awesome opportunity this week to get down to Biola University in La Mirada, CA and talk with some of their Cinema Media Arts students about being a Disney ABC Editor; about breaking into Hollywood; about how to get started in a career right after school and choosing the right market; about setting yourself apart with excellence; about being a professional head-ache reliever!

And so much more.

It sounded like it was helpful to a lot of them, several were taking notes and they asked some fantastic questions! I so appreciate the Mission and Vision of Biola University. There are very few faith-based film schools out there and some of the top schools like Regent and Liberty aren't even on the West Coast. Biola is here in the thick of it. Pumping out high caliber filmmakers directly into the market.

Even though I tried my best to convince them to become Firemen or Actuaries, still by the end they wanted to be world-changing filmmakers! It's a long, tough road but we need strong storytellers.
