Actuarial Diversity and Inclusion: Insights from Malaysia

We recently conducted a survey to gather insights into diversity within the actuarial profession in Malaysia.

Among the findings from this survey:

• Nearly 60% of respondents said it was hard to find information on actuarial science.
• Over 40% of respondents felt that their social economic background affected their ability to get a job.
• 25% of respondents have either faced racial or gender discrimination at the office.
