This active reach-out changed my life and business in one week.

I told the story already about how me giving a cold letter to the owner of a law firm and literally walking in asking to see him and handing him this letter, landed me my first job at a law firm I was eyeing when I had decided I wanted to be a Paralegal.?

I didn’t have any experience except for at a bakery before then and as an account manager. No experience at a law firm.

Yet a heart felt, well thought out letter created an opportunity out of thin air!?

?

Now I want to tell you about how a message to someone you may know on Linkedin changed my life and business more recently.?

?

I was looking for a way to reach more people…?

?

As a job seeker you’re looking for a way to get interviews with quality hiring managers, and as now a business owner, I’m looking for a way to get infront of more people who may resonate and be genuinely helped by me…?

?

(This works for business owners too btw! For anything you’re doing this is valuable to expedite your opportunities!)

?

So I had this intuitive download that Linda Le had a wide reach and she was doing some great stuff with her wide reach and my initial thought was.?

?

“I should reach out to her and see if she wants to do a collaboration of some kind!”

I didn’t know what yet.. But I thought in my gut she’s a great person I would LOOOVE To collaborate with her some how!?

?

Then my brain told me…?

?

→ No, she's too big. She has over 500k followers and she wont’ reply to you. ?

→ No she is too busy. She has like 1000’s of DM’s she won't’ even see it. ?

→ I don’t want to bother her, she posted about how she was sending out like 200 offers today. Obviously she’s busy and has no time for this right now.?

?

But then I caught my brain - As I do with my handy self-coaching skills, and I redirected it to…

?

Ok maybe all that’s true, but maybe I should just find out, before I decide this is facts.

?

This didn’t require me to disregard that all the above WAS Still probably true.

?

I thought to myself…??

?

“I have been following her for a long time and I do genuinely feel like I know her and I think I do have something to say to her that could reach her heart and my reach out would land differently than all the others she probably gets…”?

?

Plus I consider myself to be pretty good with words and I have had some crazier things be accepted in the past so… WHY NOT?!

?

YOU JUST NEVER KNOW right?

?

SO I DID.

?

The reach out I sent her had her reply faster than I thought she would, and we were in partnership within 1 week’s time.?

?

She is the kindest, most genuine, sweetest person who was eager to help too!

?

Later on we had several side conversations and I have been a part of her business in a bigger way as far as doing other collaborations and I will continue to work with her in a valued partnership that’s mutually beneficial.?

?

Since doing that courageous ask, I’ve met countless amazing new clients and welcomed them into the community!?

?

It doesn’t end there! She has also referred many other people to work with me for partnering and collaborations and I have done the same for her!?

?

And This is just ONE ASK that if I had NOT made. My business would NOT have leaped in the way it did last year.?

?

I can’t imagine if I DID not make this ask!?

?

So This is to say. ONE ASK can change everything.

?

I’m going to teach you how to write a heartfelt reach out to someone who you have never met (Even if you are a nobody) and create opportunities within WEEKS that you never would create by applying to more jobs in the same way.?

?

And have it feel good, for both you and them.?
