Igor Majer, the founder of Ocean Lava Montenegro and other numerous events that form his portfolio, is our long-term partner in the cause of supporting the sports tourism development in Montenegro, which leads to the travelling season extension and brings active visitors from all around the world to our country.

Igor states: 'Passion is what pushes me over the comfort zone while I swim, bike and run. Passion is what gives me that extra strength to prepare Ocean Lava Montenegro event.'?

Since 2016, Ocean Lava Montenegro has been organised annually, except in the pandemic year of 2020, when the borders were closed most of the time. This year, on May 14th, the 7th Ocean Lava Montenegro triathlon was successfully held in Kotor. This year's race gathered around 500 competitors from 44 countries. Even the rain could not hinder the well-coordinated team of organisers and did not affect the enthusiasm of dedicated athletes.

The victory at the 7th edition of Ocean Lava Montenegro in the Olympic distance was taken by the Moldovan Gaetan Fetaud, who completed his intention to break the previous record of this race. Mr Fetaud completed the race in a record two hours and 17 minutes.

Great results were achieved in the women's category, and the first to reach the finish line was Gessica Benedetti, who finished the race in three hours and eight minutes.

The organisation of the 7th edition of Ocean Lava Montenegro was helped, among others, by Lu?tica Bay and The Chedi Hotel.

Even if Ocean Lava is one of the most popular events organised by Igor Majer and his team and supported by our company, we have another event from his portfolio with which we feel a strong bond and connection. That is Lustica Bay Aquathlon.?

?

In 2019, Lustica Bay Aquathlon made its debut, and we enjoyed this event a great deal in the previous three years. For the ones who are not sure, Aquathlon is a multisport that consists of swimming and running and represents a perfect combination at well-balanced distances.

?

Together with the organisers, we like to say that this event is FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. Indeed, living a healthy lifestyle involves the whole family and that is why this race is organised in categories that include all age ranges, from children to parents.

?

Participation in children's races is FREE! Children's races are not competitive, and no winners by category are announced. After the end of the race, all children will receive participation medals and refreshments.

?

The registration fee for adults is 10 EUR, and the starting package includes a swimming cap and a technical shirt. During and after the race, all competitors are supplied with nutritive refreshments.

This year's event is scheduled for June 11th, starting at 1 pm. We are enthusiastic to welcome all of you interested in joining us, and the registrations are already open!?
