Chatting to GB Olympian Leon Taylor!
Before jetting off to commentate at this years Olympic Games, Tony was joined by Leon Taylor, GB Olympian, mentor and coach, for an inspirational webinar looking at how to apply lessons from elite athletic training to boost your everyday performance.
Throughout the session Leon shared his journey and offered practical tips to enhance your physical and mental wellbeing. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable insights which will help them in everyday life.

Welcoming Network Rail
We’re pleased to welcome onboard our latest client, Network Rail.
To kick-off the Network Rail partnership, were using the energy and excitement of the Olympic Games to embrace team spirit by launching The Active Games: Move for 30.
Starting on the 26th July, the start of the Olympics, teams of 4 pledged to complete 30 minutes of any activity for the 17 days of the Olympic Games.Active Games will motivate their employees to get moving, enhance their physical and mental wellbeing, and foster a vibrant, active community. By embracing Olympic-inspired challenges, promoting regular exercise, and supporting corporate social responsibility initiatives, Network Rail and other like-minded organisations are set to create a healthier and more engaged workforce this summer.
SCC Torch Relay Team Challenge
Throughout July, SCC came together to virtually travel the Olympic Torch relay route, an epic 2,500-mile route. Each participant pledged to move 50 miles to collectively cover the full route distance on a virtual map, unlocking prizes and rewards along the way. By taking part participants earnt Movement for Good rewards, which included 690 school days to United World Schools and 740 trees to be planted through Eden Reforestation.
Teams smashed the original target of 2,500 miles on Day 10, but didn't slow down. In 31 days they collectively travelled a whopping 7,255 miles - that's like travelling from London to Honolulu!

Support Dexter's Pedal to Paris!
Total Active Hub are thrilled to be supporting an inspirational young fundraiser,12-year-old Dexter, in his epic challenge to cycle an incredible 320 kilometres from Reading to Paris.
Setting off on the 25th August, Dexter is fundraising for 3 causes close to his heart - Sport in Mind, Wheelpower and Fanconi Hope.
You can virtually join Dexter, by pledging to walk, run, cycle or choose your own activity to move 10km to support and collectively move alongside Dexter as he makes his way to Paris!

How to Watch the 2024 Paris Olympics!
With 329 medal events across 32 sports up for grabs, the 2024 Paris Olympics are well underway, marking a historic centennial since the French capital last hosted the Games. Watch and be inspired by your own teams, like the Team GB women's quadruple scull who snatched a dramatic gold in a photo finish. So far, Team GB has already secured an impressive 18 medals, showcasing our athletes' dedication and talent.
With the Games running until 11th August, catch all the action on the BBC, with two live streams on BBC One, BBC Two, and online via the BBC Sport website and BBC iPlayer. For daily highlights, tune into the BBC’s nightly show, Today at the Games.
