Activating Unresponsive Prospects

When prospects are unresponsive, we need to work hard to activate a response. I personally like to assume responsibility for the prospect not responding - I obviously didn't communicate "What's In It For Me" effectively enough for the prospect, or my value propositions / strategies didn't align with the prospect's goals, responsibilities and key performance indicators.
That being said, even if you work very hard to write the best personalized value-driven sales messaging, there are times where the prospect is just busy managing other tasks or working on something of higher priority. It's during these times that you need to put together innovative scripts to activate a response from a prospect to understand the current state of their business.
The best way to activate unresponsive prospects is to develop innovative scripts that generate replies (good or bad) so you can identify if you can move that prospect forward in the pipeline, or completely back off.
Work hard to develop 5 unresponsive activation scripts and test them each. Utilize data to tell you which one performs the best and then keep testing and optimizing. This will empower you to always get a reply back from unresponsive prospects.
