Actions Speak Louder Than Words
Dear Mindful Leader,
Since June 16, 2023, I’ve been showing up here on LinkedIn every single day except Saturday, delivering live sermons at 7 AM EST (six days per week).
That’s 261 sermons and counting, each one a chance to connect, inspire, and guide us all toward a more mindful, Godly way of living.
It’s a commitment I cherish, a routine that’s become a cornerstone of my daily life. By the time most people are just waking up, I’ve already been hard at work for two hours, preparing not just paperwork but messages that I hope will resonate and uplift.
Starting my day with these sermons is a joy. There’s something profoundly fulfilling about merging my professional responsibilities with my passion for preaching. It’s more than just sharing words; it’s about creating a space where we can reflect, grow, and support one another. Every morning, I’m reminded of the powerful role we all play in each other’s lives.
Our actions, no matter how small, can have a ripple effect, shaping our communities and beyond.
The Power of Daily Connection
In a world where we’re often overwhelmed by noise and distraction, these morning sermons offer a moment of stillness and clarity. They’re an opportunity to start the day with purpose and intention, to align our actions with our values. And it’s not just about me talking; it’s about us engaging in a dialogue, sharing thoughts, and supporting each other on this journey.
I’ve seen firsthand the impact that these messages can have.
People reach out to share how a particular sermon resonated with them, how it helped them navigate a challenging situation or inspired them to take a positive step in their lives.
This feedback is incredibly rewarding and reinforces the importance of what we’re doing together.
Be a Mindful, Godly Leader
One message that’s been central to my sermons is the call to be a Mindful, Godly leader.
What does this mean?
It means leading with integrity, compassion, and a deep sense of purpose. It means being aware of the impact of our actions and striving to make choices that reflect our highest values.
In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught up in the pursuit of success and forget the importance of ethical leadership. But true leadership isn’t just about achieving goals; it’s about how we achieve them. It’s about setting an example through our actions, demonstrating empathy, and fostering a culture of respect and kindness.
Actions Speak Louder Than Words
A theme that’s been on my mind a lot lately is that actions speak louder than words. I
t’s a simple but powerful truth. We can talk all day about our values and beliefs, but it’s our actions that truly define us. It’s how we treat others, how we handle challenges, and how we conduct ourselves in our daily lives that reveals our character.
Each morning, as I prepare for my sermons, I reflect on this principle. I ask myself:

How can I live out these values today?
How can I make a positive impact through my actions?
It’s a question that I encourage all of us to consider. Whether it’s through our work, our interactions with others, or the way we approach life’s challenges, our actions have the power to inspire and uplift those around us.
Making a Difference, One Day at a Time
I believe that every day is an opportunity to make a difference. It doesn’t have to be grand or dramatic; often, it’s the small, consistent actions that have the greatest impact. Showing kindness to a stranger, offering support to a colleague, or taking a moment to reflect and pray—these are the actions that build a better world.
As I continue to deliver these morning sermons, I’m committed to living out this message. I’m here not just to talk but to walk alongside you, to share this journey of mindful, Godly living.
Together, we can create a community that supports and uplifts each other, that strives to embody the values we hold dear.
A Call to Reflect and Act
Thank you for joining me each morning (link is in the featured section of my profile) and for being part of this journey. Let’s continue to inspire and uplift each other, striving to be the best versions of ourselves and making a positive impact on the world around us. Remember, actions speak louder than words. Let’s lead by example, demonstrating integrity, empathy, and wisdom in all that we do. Together, we can navigate the complexities of life with grace and purpose, building a legacy of mindful, godly leadership.
Here’s to many more mornings of reflection, connection, and positive action. Let’s make each day count.
Stay well. Swim Strong!
Warmly,
David
P.S. As you all must know my secular job is promoting solar energy. Joe Biden's Build Back Better plan is pouring massive funds into businesses ready to go green. Just last week, I secured $849,000 in free money for a hospitality client’s solar system from a federal grant. Your business/hotel could qualify for seven figures in government benefits for a solar setup. DM me now to discover how and transform your business with sustainable energy!
