Actions speak louder than words
First and foremost, a huge thanks to all of you who took the time to either like or share your feedback to my first article "Too many cooks spoil the broth". In this update, i wanted to tackle something that i'm sure we can all relate. So here goes!
During my career I have managed various teams in varying sectors. Some where it was appropriate to give a greater focus on strategy and others where it was all about tactical delivery – “we need a poster, an email etc etc”. We've all been there right?
For me, you have to strike the right balance for your organisation but and I stress this is a BIG BUT, talking about a plan and theorising for days on end is very rarely a luxury any of us can afford. At some point we need to...
...stop talking and start doing!
Tangible delivery is what turns a plan to reality. Strike the right balance of words vs. action for your organisation.
