Action through It

I was dog walking yesterday and a job that has been on my mind for a while popped in to my head and it make me think about why I hadn’t done it yet. It’s not a complicated job, it’s just one that I’ve not done before and I’ve built it up in my head as something that will require three things:
- Time
- Effort
- Brain power
It’s out of my comfort zone, it’s something I don’t know whether will be fruitful because I’ve not tried it before and it’s something that has many unknown quantities because I’m treading in new water.
So I have it on my mental to do list, but it’s yet to make it on to a piece of paper.
Do you ever do this?
Have something you know you want to do, for whatever reason;
- It could make you happier or healthier.
- It could make you richer.
- It could make your business or career more successful.
- It could have another benefit that you’re not clear on yet.
So much good stuff waiting to be tapped into… if you just took action.
But it’s an unknown and so therefore stays on the ‘really should get done soon’ list.
What could you take action on today, right NOW even, that would get you moving forward?
Go do it! :)
Love, me

p.s. if you'd like these sorts of pep talks along with loads more support every day for the next 2-4 weeks jump on Team Blast <3 https://ladiesthatplan.com/product/blast-november-2018/
I’m joining forces with some other people who have also been procrastinating getting something done and we’re already prepping for a big four week blitz of massive productivity together.
We will be:
Checking in regularly to set goals for each day and then checking in again to say how we got on.
Using specially designed planners and worksheets to make sure we’re maximising our time so we can be our best productive selves.
Using specific days (1 per week) to ramp up our efforts with hourly check-ins to really hit the ball out of the park with our to do lists.
Checking in with each other every Monday on a Zoom call to clear any blocks and help with any challenges we're facing.
And we start on Monday! I can’t wait!
If you’d like to join us and make the next few weeks your most productive time ever we’d love it.

5 年Dear Sophie Since no one has yet commented, coupled with the fact you’re an OG (like me), may I be the first to say your initiative that “blasted off” last November has not a little suggestion of ‘desperation’. I’m intrigued to know, first if it worked and second, what were the results? Also, the “A” word (awesome) you should know is a giant switch-off in the UK marketing kingdom, so only permitted this side of the Atlantic for use by sub-20 year old Instagrammers or American tourists!? ?Best wishes, Mike Pemberton x
