Action Oriented to Moment Oriented

Something that describe my spirit is “ease”. Not so much of hustle and rush. Its “being”. Its in the moment.

I am deliberately learning to be less action oriented and be more moment oriented.

Life cannot be controlled neither it should be attempted. Force or push through can lead us only to so far. The true opening is in just being and letting things be. This doesn’t mean passivity, but rather a less “feverish” approach, allowing a “profound energy” to emerge from this space of presence.

Consider the example of a creative endeavor. Instead of rigidly adhering to a pre-planned script and forcing ideas, embracing ease might involve allowing moments of rest and simply being present with the project. This space can then foster “spontaneity” in action, where responses arise naturally from the moment rather than being dictated by a rigid plan.

I do have a to-do list, yet I am not blinded by it. I ask everyday- what requires my energy and I am flexible around it. It is a balanced approach, where plans exist but are subservient to the needs of the present.

Embracing ease and spontaneity isn’t a passive surrender to life; it’s an active engagement with the present. It’s about trusting the natural unfolding of events and responding authentically rather than reactively.

By releasing the need for constant control and cultivating a state of being, we open ourselves to a deeper sense of peace and a more profound connection with life itself.

Stepping out of the relentless hustle and finding strength in stillness. That’s where my coherence lies.

well expressed Shruti Dhupia. Something I am trying to cultivate myself over the years as a person who leans towards structure- flexibility and openness definitely brings in ease.

Just reading this brings a sense of calm ??

Loved this Shruti… something for me to really reflect on … as most of my energy is spent on “doing” rather than “being”…
