Acting Coach/Casting Director Mike Lemon Teaching "Acting for Film"
Acting coach and casting director Mike Lemon, who’s cast thousands of actors in more than 10,000 projects, will teach a six-week “Acting for Film” class at Weist Baron-Ryan (WBR) studios.
The weekly Saturday classes will be held June 3 through July 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Weist Barron-Ryan studios at 13 E. Black Horse Pike, Pleasantville, NJ. Space is limited.
Mike Lemon is the founder of Mike Lemon Casting and has been serving the Delaware Valley entertainment community for over 30 years. Films that Lemon has locally cast include “Philadelphia”, “12 Monkeys”, “Oceans 11” and “The Sixth Sense”. He’s also an award-winning filmmaker for his short film, “Touched”.
Students will learn to perfect a monologue, act for the camera, cold reading skills, what casting directors are looking for at an audition and scene readings. Actors are asked to bring a monologue.
WBR has been teaching acting for all mediums including film, TV, commercials, and improvisation for all ages for nearly 40 years. They’ve cast actors in countless films, TV shows, commercials and voice-overs.
WBR is a member of the theatrical union SAG-AFTRA as well as many community groups.
