Riyadh Metro is now OPEN! ??
We are proud to have contributed to the delivery of one of the world’s largest fully-automated metro systems.
Egis led the project management, design, construction, and integration of Lines 1, 2, and 3.
This world-class project sets a scalable benchmark for sustainable infrastructure in the region.
?? The metro began operations on December 1st!
Comissionning of the Thessaloniki metro ???
THEMA , company formed by Egis and ATM - Azienda Trasporti Milanesi will manage the new driverless line for 11 years, for an economic value of €250 million.
The line connects the Western part of Thessaloniki to the Eastern in 18 minutes.With a length of 10 km and 13 stations, the metro is bound to become the main hub for inner city journeys, changing Thessaloniki’s mobility by making it greener.
PROJECT BREAKING NEWS ??
Our contribution to restoring heating networks in Ukraine ?
Egis provides comprehensive support, including capacity building for local communities, developing technical specifications, overseeing the procurement process.
This project is funded by the European Union in Ukraine and implemented with the support of Nefco - the Nordic Green Bank in Ukraine.

Century-old bridge replacement contract awarded to Egis in Canada! ?
The existing structure, built in 1932, is a two-span 24.23 m long continuous reinforced concrete slab-on-beam structure.?
It’s anticipated to be replaced with a superstructure consisting of six precast concrete box girders with a 150mm thick deck slab supported on reinforced concrete semi-integral abutments. Our design team is working on an expedited schedule and construction is planned for 2025.
Eole project: another way Egis contributes to the decarbonation of energy!
Eole project will serve as an essential base for the deployment of future wind farms off the Atlantic coast from 2030 onwards.
?? Egis and its partner BRL Ingénierie will provide a complete project management service, from design studies to construction supervision.
