Don't ever give up

This is one lesson the movie captures... Infact this is the biggest lesson the movie teaches. If you ever think of letting go of the struggles and hustle, if you ever think of giving up on your dreams and goals then this movie is what you need to revive you and reignite that fire in you. Robert's attitude is something that amazes me alot. He showed alot of faith in his project and his dreams even when there seemed to be no hope. Even when others did not believe in him he believed in his dream and he kept on. He did not go for less. He didn't settle for just anything. He knew his worth and he kept at it. Even if it took him decades he still pursued his dream. We should learn to never let go even when no one seems to support us. As long as we have a dream, a vision and a goal then we have hope. Never back down...

Love is not enough (Robert and Belinda's mistake)

Watch for 1st mistake

I've always told people that love and marriage are two very different things and shouldn't be taken to be the same. You can love someone and not end up marrying the person maybe because the person is not ready or doesn't look ready. This is one mistake people make today. You hear them saying "I love him and that is what matters". Yes I agree with that but that is not all that matters alone. You need a regular income, you need endurance and patience, you need trust and faithfulness and loyalty and you also need maturity... Don't rush into marriage just because you love him or her only. Be prepared to handle everything that comes with marriage so that you don't regret it. When you're not ready to get married don't feel that when you're married you'll be. Alot changes once you get married. Be ready to accommodate those changes.

Watch your association (Belinda's 1st mistake)

Be it your friends or family members always try to have the best associates around you. This is something that needs constant reevaluation. Once your associate does not share your values, dreams and visions then you're in the wrong group. Don't allow anyone dictate what your dreams and decisions should be. Don't allow anyone make decisions on your behalf or for you just because they don't like what you're currently doing. In as much as you trust your sisters use your head too and learn to stick to what you've decided to do. Listen to people but make your own decisions so that you don't get to blame others for your failures.

Watch your temperament (Belinda's 2nd mistake)

Anger and fight does not settle issues instead it spoils things. Sadly some of us were born with temperaments and we even grow up with this. For a lady there are some attitudes that do not go down well even when you're married. Imagine Belinda has children and she would still show her anger the way she does in front of her children. Such attitude is not good for a relationship or marriage. When you're ready to take such a step(like marriage) then you should drop some dirty attitudes(anger and fight)... Even if it's tolerated it would always have a bad influence and the results are regrettable...

Stick to the end (Belinda's 3rd mistake)

I may not come out totally to blame Belinda for this because many of us can't endure what she endured at the hands of Robert and the sacrifices she made. But remember that once you have decided to stick with someone you really care about then it should be to the end. It won't be easy and whatever decision you chose to a make would definitely tell on you and that is why you should be prepared before you make such decisions. This is very important especially in marriage. Marriage is for better and worse and once you're committed to spending your life with someone you love then you should be prepared to see it to the end...

Finally

* Marriage is for you and your spouse and not for your family members to take decisions for you. Limit your family's influence on your marriage and learn to settle matters without their help...

* Don't always expect a reward for the good you did for someone. You might be disappointed. Infact if you're doing well or you're making a sacrifice for someone do it out of a pure heart and don't expect to be rewarded. Don't weigh your loss because you helped someone or made a sacrifice for someone. Count it as a blessing. Once you expect to get paid back then don't make the sacrifice...

This movie brought out alot of things we go through and yet keep silent. It's an eye opener. Rather than just see this movie and make hasty conclusions and judgments this movie should serve as a mirror for us to see ourselves... Think carefully about your decisions and make sure your head is correct and your mind is made up before making a decision... Don't be afraid to make a mistake and don't be scared to fall to the ground... It will Make you stronger...focus and don't take NO for answer...

In the end it is

"TRUE LOVE" that really matters...

You'll definitely eat the fruit of your labour... If only you endure down to the HARVEST time..
