Famous Personality Born Today: Stan Lee (Born December 28, 1922 – November 12, 2018) was an American comic book writer, editor, publisher, and producer. He rose through the ranks of a family-run business called Timely Comics which would later become Marvel Comics. In collaboration with others at Marvel—particularly co-writers/artists Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko—he co-created iconic characters, including superheroes Spider-Man, the X-Men, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, Ant-Man, the Wasp, the Fantastic Four, Black Panther, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, the Scarlet Witch, and Black Widow.

????Adani Ports places ?450 crore order for eight tugs?with Cochin Shipyard: Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) said it has placed an order worth ?450 crore with the Cochin Shipyard Limited to procure eight harbour tugs. ??China launches amphibious assault ship Sichuan that can launch fighter jets: China launched a new amphibious assault ship on Friday (December 27, 2024), capable of launching fighter jets and designed to strengthen the navy's combat ability in distant seas. The Sichuan, the first ship of the 076 type, is China's largest such ship yet, displacing 40,000 tonnes and equipped with an electromagnetic catapult which will allow fighter jets to launch directly off its deck, according to the official Xinhua news agency.
