????Indian can be part of human space flight programme of Blue Origin for just $2.50, needs votes to get a seat on New Shepard : US-based Space Exploration and Research Agency (SERA), in collaboration with Jeff Bezos funded Blue Origin, has announced India as a partner nation in their human spaceflight programme for citizens from countries who have sent few, or no, astronaut to space. On July 1, SERA announced that it will offer citizens from across the world six seats on a future mission of New Shepard, which is the reusable sub-orbital rocket of Blue Origin.

????Air India to set up flying institute in Maharashtra to train 180 commercial pilots annually : Tata Group-owned Air India on July 1 said it will set up a training institute at Amravati in Maharashtra with an aim to train 180 commercial pilots annually. “The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA)-licensed Flight Training Organisation (FTO) at the Belora Airport will be the largest such institute in South Asia and become operational from the first quarter of next financial year,” Air India said in a statement.

????Delhi Airport T1 closure: 22,615 passengers affected; 9,972 refunded : As many as 22,615 passengers were affected due to the closure of Delhi Airport Terminal 1 (T1) following the roof collapse on Friday, the civil aviation ministry said in a statement on Monday. The statement added that 9,972 passengers booked on IndiGo (9,431) and SpiceJet (541) flights have been refunded. The refund of 196 passengers remained pending.
