Our Eastern Operations Team has been hard at work packing and delivering food boxes in preparation for the Thanksgiving Holiday.?? Our team delivered 17 dinner boxes for families at North Jefferson Elementary School. Sharing gratitude and support this holiday season is just one more way we help to keep life flowing!??

Today our team had the privilege of presenting the CAMC Foundation with $30,000 raised by our employees, partners and friends during the month of October. This marks the third year of this employee lead initiative, raising funds to provide fuel cards to patients receiving treatment for breast cancer at the CAMC Breast Center. Utilizing the American Water Charitable Foundation's employee donation match, we were able to help alleviate some of the costs that patients have while traveling for treatment.

Utility scams are common this time of year and growing more frequent throughout the rest of the year. To help avoid being scammed, there are three things you can do: ask for proper identification, thoroughly inspect the ID badge, and check the service person’s vehicle. A company ID badge and driver’s license can help verify that the person is who they say they are. American Water’s ID badge will display the person’s picture and company logo. As part of our ongoing commitment to infrastructure updates in our water and wastewater systems, we are investing approximately $615,000 in water main improvements.??
