A Note from Our Chief Operating?Officer
As March unfolds, we center our attention on the theme of conquering transition hurdles and highlighting the extraordinary resilience within our military community. Every day we work with Mentors and Protégés who have overcome obstacles. These mentorships offer both inspiration and practical strategies.
These stories serve as guideposts, showcasing the fortitude and adaptability of our community members. They provide examples and guidance for those navigating similar paths. As we pay homage to these examples of perseverance, let's continue to support one another through these transitions, fostering a culture of resilience and empowerment.
Additionally, during Women’s History Month, we celebrate the valuable contributions of women across history, particularly their pivotal roles in mentorship. This month, we pay tribute to the outstanding women who have acted as Mentors, Veterans and Spouses, guiding and motivating others to overcome obstacles and realize their aspirations.
Support ACP's Mission Today
Women Veterans who served post-9/11 encounter various obstacles in their career development journey, including lower rates of full-time employment compared to male counterparts, achieving higher education but attaining lower ranks or positions and other employment disparities.
However, through the support of programs like ACP's Women's Veteran Mentoring Program, Protégés overcome these barriers daily. As we celebrate Women's History Month, we extend our gratitude to donors whose contributions make this vital mentoring program possible for all of our Protégés.
Contribute to ACP today to help us continue meeting the career development needs of all our post-9/11 Veterans and active duty Military Spouses.

Who's Who at ACP
Lizzie Erickson, Strategic Partnerships Manager
A strong calling to service brought Lizzie to ACP in 2022, joining the team as ACP launched its second office in Washington DC. Lizzie stewards a number of major corporate partnerships and contributes to strategic new business efforts. Drawing on her non-profit background, Lizzie understands the value of aligning objectives and effectively storytelling with allies.
Though she misses her western roots, as well as friends and mentors who introduced her to non-profit work, she has thoroughly enjoyed the action and opportunities that Washington DC offers. With the increasing rarity of the average American having military connections, Lizzie is proud to do her part in supporting the next generation of military families.
