Today I was talking with one of my X colleague who is senior almost 14 years in the industry and we talked about some topics which were disturbing her. She thought it was hard work being put....but was upset about the fact that her voice is not heard. It was heard but may be it did not reach and hence lacked effect. She was right but then there are ways to learn from such a situation
My experience hinges on four tiers. I am attempting to put them in simple ways. #fourtiersofgrowth
Acknowledge - First stage where one needs to present oneself explicitly. This is driven by inner courage but may lack substance. People see you and understand that someone is there..
Appreciate - Second stage where one needs to improve presentation with more authenticity and matter. This is where people remember you and more like content you present and appreciate if genuine
Approach - Third stage where one has to sustain good work. This is where people reach out to you for the goodness you have sowed so far and expect from you. This is the stage that leads to the way of progress
Award - This is a likely stage if one is honest to all above stages. It comes after you have persuaded your path and brought value. Tangible OR Intangible...
Absolutely not to forget is the effort that links these phases and has to be borne by oneself...to make yourself heard and heard again.I am re-stressing on courage, presentation and pursuation that essentially make the golden triangle, the center of which is the Award.
Our call ended on a happy note, leaving hope that she will work on it ! This is not only her but at times it has happened with me as well and I am sure each of us must have faced this some or the other time in life.. what we look forward is important.
Seems reasonable . Right?
