The very first step in increasing courage is to acknowledge fears. Many people try to ignore their worries in the hopes that they will pass. But fear is often increased when it is avoided. Recognize fear as a normal reaction to unknown or dangerous circumstances rather than trying to escape it. is highly important to achieving your goals.

Identify fears

  • You can write down specific situations or things that trigger fear.

For example, public speaking, failure, rejection, or change.

Analyse? fears

  • Ask yourself why these fears exist.
  • What is the worst-case scenario?
  • Often, fears are based on exaggerated or irrational beliefs.
  • Recognizing these can help put fear into perspective.
