I'm excited to share a recent success story from our work at Piercing Strategies, where we partnered with a major regional airline to develop their next generation of leadership talent through our ASCEND mentorship program.
The challenge was unique: The airline needed a structured program to develop 14 high-potential directors, but given the dynamic nature of the aviation industry, they needed flexibility built into the framework. As anyone in aviation knows, no two days are alike, and rigid programs often fail to accommodate the industry's unpredictable rhythm.
Our solution? A carefully calibrated 9-month mentorship program that struck the perfect balance between structure and adaptability. The program included core elements like leadership assessments, monthly mentoring sessions, and targeted skill development, while maintaining the flexibility needed in an airline environment.
