Achieving Firsts, Becoming a Global Player

Innovation and improvement are our primary goals. Think about it—how much have your daily practices, and the products and services you use, changed in the past few years? Now, try to imagine how this transformation has unfolded on a global scale in the industrial world.

Separation technologies are indispensable cornerstones of countless processes across various industries. Since change is inevitable, demands, needs, and advancements in separation technologies are ever-evolving. To stay competitive in this field, as producers of these technologies, we must stay ahead of developments. Following what others do may allow us to offer better products to our current customers. However, if our goal is to lead, set new standards, and grow, then we must not follow but pave the way forward.

In mid-2024, we produced the SX 840, a decanter centrifuge with a drum diameter of 840 mm, the largest in Türkiye. The SX 840 was not only the largest decanter centrifuge in the country in terms of screw diameter but also a marvel of engineering. It provided users with greater efficiency while minimizing electricity and chemical consumption, thereby adding significant value in terms of sustainability.

At this point, we could have stopped, content to say we produced Türkiye’s largest decanter centrifuge. But we didn’t. To truly lead and pave the way forward, we worked even harder to surpass our own record. The result was the SX 920. As the name suggests, the SX 920 boasts a drum inner diameter of 920 mm. Despite being larger, it reduces energy consumption and brings even greater efficiency to operational processes.

With this step, we are not just a company that produced Türkiye's largest decanter centrifuge and then broke its own record; we are also showcasing our country's capabilities in technology, engineering, and innovation on the global stage. While the SX 840 and SX 920 bear the name Polat Makina, they also represent Türkiye’s strength in the industrial sector. In fact, we cannot separate Polat Makina from Türkiye in anything we do, any innovation we achieve, or any advancement we make.

For example, an olive oil producer in Italy uses a machine signed by Polat Makina, fully aware that we are a Turkish brand. In this context, I am proud to represent our country within the framework of efficiency, value, and respect for nature.

This is how we can become a global player. Beyond developing our company with the work we do, we also consider how we can support our region and its people. With every new step we take and every new technology we develop, we strive to contribute to our country. As a result, we export our products to 45 different countries, primarily in Europe, America, and the Middle East, associating Türkiye with quality and innovation in the minds of our customers.
