Achieving Excellence: Crown Paints Kenya's Triple ISO Certification Journey

Crown Paints Kenya has achieved a significant milestone by securing three ISO recertifications: ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management System, and ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health & Safety Management System. These certifications demonstrate Crown Paints' commitment to meeting and exceeding the rigorous standards set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in the areas of quality, environment, and occupational health & safety.

The Certification Journey

Achieving ISO certification is a journey of continual improvement rather than a one-time accomplishment. It involves dedicated efforts from management and employees, aligning business processes with ISO standards, and streamlining procedures to enhance product quality, environmental responsibility, and occupational safety.

Crown Paints established an ISO implementation and audit team to develop company processes aligned with ISO standards, which were audited by @BureauVeritaskenya, renowned external auditors, to achieve certification.

Benefits to Customers & Partners

For Crown Paints' customers and partners, ISO certifications provide assurance of conformity to management system requirements and compliance with legal & international standards. This commitment is supported by internal ISO champions within the company, ensuring continuous improvement in meeting customer needs and expectations for quality, environmental performance, and health & safety.

Sustainability and Excellence

Obtaining ISO certifications reflects Crown Paints' top management's commitment to excellence and sustainability. It demonstrates a proactive approach to conducting business operations safely, producing quality products, and minimizing environmental impact.

Future Outlook

Moving forward, Crown Paints will continually monitor and measure its processes against set standards to identify areas for improvement. The company remains committed to maintaining ISO certification and providing products and services that enhance the quality of life for customers and stakeholders.
