??? Change and #innovation is a never-ending 24/7 non-stop process if you wish to be competitive. In its simplest sense, it is a 7 step process.
?? 1. ALERT CHANGE AWARENESS
??? First, you need to constantly be aware and alert to the fact that change is an ongoing process. As such, you are challenged to come up with new ideas about why and how products, systems, and processes need to be modified -- modestly or dramatically.
?? 2. ENGAGE CHANGE LEADERS
??? You need to spread that awareness among the top team and all those charged with carrying out change, and to routinely engage them in discussion about what needs changing.
?? 3. CREATE CHANGE OPTIONS
??? As change becomes obvious to the team, you need to put on your thinking caps and generate ideas around what change options and opportunities exist, due to both internal needs and external market forces.
?? 4. EMBRACE SHARED VISION
??? The team then needs to agree upon and embrace a shared vision of what selected changes can achieve, and the corporate benefits that will ensue to all stakeholders.
?? 5. EMPOWER TACTICAL ACTIONS
??? Once the change strategy plan is agreed to, responsible persons must be empowered to take detailed and timed practical steps to bring the plan to fruition.
?? 6. INTEGRATE SYSTEMIC CHANGES
??? Planned changes need to be implemented across the enterprise, iterating and making modest changes as needed, and measuring results against key metrics as the plan proceeds.

?? 7. SUSTAIN LONG-TERM INNOVATION
??? This entire change process should become embedded as part of the DNA culture of the organization, so that innovation is sustained on a 24/7 basis in accordance with this framework.
