'All feelings are welcome, not all behaviors' - I read this quote somewhere last week, and it's still fresh. We can use this good advice in so many situations, from parenting to friendships to the workplace, isn't it?
Last week, Happiness At Work Newsletter completed 50 editions and I'm so happy about all the responses it has received. Onwards and upwards!
This week, I'm back with another interesting edition of the newsletter - Happiness At Work - packed with fresh insights, intriguing stories, and practical tips to brighten your work life.
Let's dive into the world of workplace happiness and keep our journey of joy and discovery rolling!
What Have You Achieved This Year?
Every year, I ask myself this question, and I've noticed that the answers become more meaningful with time. It's easy to focus solely on professional milestones, but the true measure of success often lies in the achievements that shape our personal lives.
Whether it's taking a much-needed holiday, celebrating a sibling's engagement, or returning to academic pursuits after a decade—these moments matter. They reflect not just who we are at work, but who we are as individuals. And yet, many of us hesitate to celebrate these personal victories, worried they won't stack up against our professional accomplishments.
But here's the truth - work is not the endgame; it's a stepping stone. It's what allows us to create a life where these personal milestones are possible. When we start counting these as part of our achievements, we're not just balancing work and life—we're integrating them.
So, as you reflect on your own year, consider this: if your work has enabled you to achieve something meaningful outside of it, you've reached a new level of work-life balance. And that is an achievement worth celebrating.

Every week I give a dope recommendation. This week's recommendation is - Same Energy
It is a fascinating visual search tool in beta. Upload an image, and it returns a mosaic of similar images, whether in subject, lighting, or style. Unlike Pinterest, you can also create a collection to train AI for even more personalized results. It’s an endless source of creative inspiration and a powerful design research tool. Perfect for anyone looking to explore visual styles or simply enjoy the mesmerizing results.
Oh, also, under Keep It hygge's sub brand - we have come up with a fun sensory box. Fun products and hygge vibes. You can check it out here
