The Plot : In this movie, Santiago Mu?ez, an illegal Mexican immigrant to Los Angeles, gets his lucky break when an ex-Newcastle United player turned scout, Glen Foy, chances upon his games, and invites him over to England for trials.

For a guy who's struggling to make ends meet, this presents the perfect opportunity to follow his dream.?This movie talks about the many trials and tribulations?that Munez goes through to earn his rightful place in the squad.

The movie talks about -

  • Sheer Determination to overcome?any obstacle
  • Ability to be in his original nature. Maintain right ethics (Despite of befriending a desperately undisciplined bad boy star scorer he maintained his own moral & character).
  • "Can Do" attitude & willingness to go extra mile to get things done.
  • Ability to bounce back after repeated setbacks.
  • Driven by pure and absolute LOVE of soccer.

The entire movie talks about Achievement Orientation- The willingness to take on the challenge, ability to manage all work well, Constant Hard Work, Right Ethics, Living the Dreams and Fulfilling all Aspirations. The story of a single-minded young man whose dream of making it on the international stage of soccer comes true.

"Goal! The Dream Begins" is a rags-to-riches sports saga & I specially learnt achievement orientation from this movie.

"Have a dream and believe in it. Strong dreams always come true."?
