Achievement inspires Motivation

I am sure that many who read this may think it should be the other way round, motivation inspires achievement. Of course it works both ways. When we achieve something we have longed for, something we have dreamed of, the personal satisfaction and the increase in our ego, along with feelings of relief, pride and gratitude, inspire us to do more. In other words we are motivated. Personally, I have never felt satisfied without the feelings of, 'what shall I do next?'

Of course achievement isn't just about our satisfaction, it is about meeting expectations, showing that we are capable, inspiring decisions to give us more responsibility and to have us help others. Our achievement motivates others to make decisions, to include us when considering promotions, to trust us more, and to have us as a valuable team member.

Whilst achievement inspires motivation, it is not just our motivation, but the motivation of others who can make a big difference in our work lives. My challenge is, 'focus on achievement,'
