I want to share a struggle I have had my whole life. I have a problem with my hands....they keep grabbing food and bringing?it to my mouth.?
I have tried many things over my life. Diets, pills (that is a whole other story), gym memberships, personal trainers, etc., yet the problem persists.
What is the real problem? One word. ACCOUNTABILITY. Or rather, a lack of it.?
Recently, I implemented some daily and weekly ACCOUNTABILITY tools, which are bringing significant progress and making things more fun. One of those tools is holding myself accountable to my family in my goal to get more exercise.?
ACCOUNTABILITY is proving to be a key factor in my success. Today, I am where I am, and my goal is to get better at exercising and making healthy choices in my eating habits by getting just one percent better each day. One day at a time, I will choose healthy habits to help me reach my goals. I have found?great peace in that.?
True, many potential obstacles will threaten to get in the way of being accountable, but I know it all comes down to my own choices and decisions. Winning the battle?behind closed?doors requires me to be accountable to myself, along with holding myself accountable to someone else–in this case, my wife and kids.
