An accelerated 9-month hybrid program for highly motivated adults who wish to pursue a career in teaching.
Dr. Keely Garden (she/her) is one of CT ARC's motivated and talented Foundations of Teaching Instructors. In the ARC Program, Dr. Garden has been an integral support system for our teacher candidates in guiding and inspiring them in the field of education. Dr. Garden is an incredible addition to this year's instructors. We cannot wait to see her continue to inspire her cohort of candidates as the year progresses!
Currently, Dr. Garden is Social Studies teacher in Cheshire Public Schools & Co-Director of Pathfinder at Hopkins School.

About Dr. Garden:
Dr. Garden has been a teacher for over 25 years. She has taught in public schools and private schools, in middle schools and high schools, and at colleges and museums. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, a Masters of Science in History, a 6th Year in Informational Technology and Digital Media Literacy, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies.
Favorite Part About the ARC Program:
I am new to the ARC Program and I am looking forward to making many memories as part of the group.
Fun Fact:
Dr. Garden has two high school aged children and two cats.
