Achema 2024: Paper Tray solutions on show

Innovation, new technologies and sustainability will be the guiding principles of the upcoming Achema 2024, a special occasion for Marchesini Group as it celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.

From June 10th to 14th, the Group will showcase numerous solutions at booth G3 – hall 3.1, including a production line for packaging and labeling injection pens with a cartoner that produces packages in paper trays. This solution features a new-design paper tray, researched and developed entirely by the Group itself, which generates savings of about fifty percent in paper and about fifty percent in glue compared to the models currently on the market.

The Group, which has been developing paper tray solutions for more than ten years, has created this new prototype with the aim of guaranteeing an even more responsible use of packaging material, while further reducing production costs and avoiding waste. In this development of new solutions, the use of robotics is essential to create custom in-feeds for handling, tray opening, and subsequent product insertion.
