The company has invested in a 1200 Pro from Tracked Carriers to improve safety and productivity when transporting steel into residential properties.
The 1200 Pro is a flatbed carrier on crawler tracks, designed for transporting loads of up to 1,200kg over rough terrain or inside buildings. With a width of just 750mm wide, it can fit through standard doorways and can handle gradients of up to 45%. Thanks to compact dimensions and an unladen weight of just 340kg, the 1200 Pro can also be easily transported in a van.
“We bought our own HIAB crane for our flatbed truck to improve productivity, reduce overheads and minimise risk of injuries from lifting steel. The 1200 Pro from Tracked Carriers is the other piece of the puzzle, as it enables us to transport the steel safely and easily. Its compact dimensions mean it can fit through garden gates and ensures we can access the rear of a property.”
