ACE Mentor Program of America Is Named a DEWALT Grow the Trades Grant Recipient!

March 4, 2024, Philadelphia, PA—ACE Mentor Program of America is honored to be recognized as a DEWALT Grow the Trades Grant recipient for its efforts to empower aspiring young minds with hands-on experience, mentorship, and guidance in architecture, construction, and engineering fields.

With an estimated 10 million global manufacturing jobs currently unfilled, DEWALT’s Grow the Trades Grants aim to help close the skilled labor gap by supporting nonprofit organizations that are skilling, reskilling, and upskilling tradespeople. Each year, the program awards funding and tool donations as part of a larger $30 million commitment over five years.???

The ACE Mentor Program was selected as one of 70 organizations projected to skill and reskill over 55,000 people in 2024 with DEWALT’s support.??

The grant award will fuel the expansion of ACE Mentor trade days nationwide. Trades Days, led by volunteer mentors at each ACE Mentor affiliate, aim to provide diverse opportunities for hands-on experiences, encouraging a new generation of students to explore and appreciate skilled crafts.?
