Accuride CEO Rick Dauch to Address Kyndle Industry Luncheon Nov. 2nd

The Gleaner | Oct. 24, 2018 |  HENDERSON, Kentucky - Kyndle will recognize industries across Henderson, Union and Webster counties at its annual Industry Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, Nov. 2, 2018.  The luncheon will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the Preston Arts Center, located on the campus of the Henderson Community College.

The keynote speaker will be Rick Dauch, President and CEO of Accuride Corporation. He will discuss Accuride’s significant global expansion over the past two years and the company's approach to expanding globally while still keeping its focus on the Tri-State region.

Dauch, who became Accuride president and CEO in 2011, has led the company’s operational turnaround and transformation to a $1.2 billion global supplier of commercial vehicle wheels and wheel end components.

With its world headquarters in Evansville and U.S. steel wheel production facility in Henderson, Accuride became one of the most global manufacturers in the Tri-State when it acquired mefro Wheels GmbH of Germany this June.

In addition to immediately becoming Europe’s leading producer of steel wheels for heavy trucks, Accuride also became a wheel supplier to the European automotive industry and the worldwide off-highway market.

The company now has 5,000 associates working at 15 plants in eight countries: The United States, Canada, Mexico, France, Germany, Russia, Turkey and China.

During complementary corporate and military careers, Dauch has amassed 25 years of cumulative leadership experience. He has cultivated management and leadership skills across a broad range of disciplines, including operations, sales and marketing, labor relations, strategic planning, finance, and investor relations.

Locally, Dauch is a member of the Koch Enterprises board of directors and serves on the Evansville Regional Business Committee.
