Accreditors: Medaille sports complex a 'significant factor' in financial woes

When Medaille University opened its multi-million-dollar sports complex on Elk Street in Buffalo in 2019, officials lauded the facility as a state-of-the art recruiting tool that would attract student athletes to the school.
Now, accreditors say the complex was one of the main reasons for Medaille's collapse.
An April report published by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education — the nonprofit organization responsible for Medaille's accreditation — called the complex "a significant factor of the institution's financial downfall."

Santora plans standalone brewery/tap room
