ACCRA MARRIOTT HOTEL LAUNCHES FIRST-EVER CHILDREN'S STORYBOOK ON HOSPITALITY IN COLLABORATION WITH BUCKPRESS LIMITED

Accra Marriott Hotel in partnership with BuckPress Limited; have launched?the first-ever children's storybook on hospitality titled "Adventures of Naughty Kofi" held on April 6th, 2023 at the Accra Marriott Hotel. Over three hundred (300) children from selected schools in the La Dade Kotopon Metropolitan Assembly and?an orphanage (Chance for Children) attended this event.

The goal of the event was to promote and ignite the spirit of hospitality among young learners, and to inspire them to appreciate and embrace our growing and fascinating industry. The event was organized as part of Marriott's Culture of Putting People First, which objective is to prioritize the well-being of its guests, associates, and the communities in which it operates.

The "Adventures of Naughty Kofi" tells the story of Kofi, a young boy who won a school competition with his friend Kwansema and was rewarded with a weekend stay at the Accra Marriott Hotel with his family. The book takes readers on a journey of discovery as Kofi and his family experience the world of hospitality and learn about the importance of good customer service and attention to detail.

The event also featured entertainment for the children, including storytelling sessions, face painting, and games. Nana Ama Buckman, the author of the book, expressed her excitement at the opportunity to collaborate with the Accra Marriott Hotel on this initiative.
