We know sales can be difficult especially if you have never had any formal sales training.

What is comes down to, is every prospect climbs on the phone with you for a different reason and it is your responsibility to find out why they are on the call and precisely define their current situation.

Now that you have a clear definition of their current situation – you want to do the same thing for their desired situation.

Clearly define their wants/needs/desires – there ideal future.

Once you have clearly separated their current and desired situation – you want to position yourself and your offer as the bridge between them.

This makes your offer seem like the perfect solution to solve their current problems/pains and get their wants/needs/desires.

Your prospect are now more interested in buying your offer than you are selling it – meaning they take control and start pushing you to get the offer.

This is the perfect situation to be in because you have all the power and the decision to make the sale no longer lies with the prospect but with you.
