Accountant - Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Must have 5+ years of experience in an Accountant role for a Manufacturing, Retail or Consumer Goods company.
• Experience in the preparation of GAAP financial statements and maintenance of general ledger.??
• Prior experience developing financial forecast models and procedures.
• Analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills.????
• Self-motivated, very good verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to details.
• Prior experience with Syteline general ledger and/or Prophix reporting tool preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products.??
• Must be willing to work extra hours as needed for calls in different time zones outside of normal business working hours.??

Accountant - Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivables, general ledger entries and other financial transactions.?
• Analyze financial performance, monitor variances, and follow up on discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies.
• Control and review expenditures for accuracy and alignment with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.?
