Accountant, Construction, Vancouver Island

Heavy Civil - A well established and growing piling and drilling contractor on Vancouver Island is looking for an intermediate accountant. You will be a key member of our team, responsible for assisting with all aspects of accounting for the growing construction business.

Grow, Learn - This will be hands on with accounts payable, receivable and job costing, as well as other general accounting duties. You will report directly to the Controller, giving the person great exposure and opportunity to have a real impact on the success of the business. Will also need to interact regularly with the operational teams to support any ad-hoc needs and projects as the company continues its path of growth.

• Hands on involvement in providing Accounting Services (payroll, AP, AR and general accounting).
• Managing AP and AR, credit card reconciliations and monitoring cash flow.
• If you have 3-4 yrs of accounting experience, I’d like to hear from you.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and Excel, ?experience with Sage Contractor all good skills to have.

?The company is operationally strong, systems are in place. Large projects around the province of BC, you’ll be reporting on $100M revenues annually. Grow, learn and move your life ahead.

• Relocation budget possible. If you’re on the mainland or in another part of Vancouver Island, we have built in a moving allowance.
