Does your staff own accountability?
If not, is it because they don’t take ownership of responsibility, or are they not clear of what they are meant to be accountable for?
For accountability to be effective there are 2 key ingredients that have to be included.
1. Expectations – what are the expectations of all parties concerned.
2. Communications – the way the expectations are communicated so that they are clearly understood and nothing is left to translation.
It’s only when those two ingredients are included in any instructions – whether for you or your staff, can we truly be accountabile.
There is one more element why accountability is so important that forms part one of the ?building blocks for any successful organisation. To view that element click on this video link to not only see what that element is, but also to meet me and view one of the ways I present my content linked to my live and online leadership program.
Accountability is so important that it makes up one of the first modules of our Effective Leadership program, which can be facilitated as an individual module or part of the whole program. To view more about the program, click on the link tab below.
