Account Manager (TELCO/SI)

Location: North Singapore

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Account Manager with a strong background in selling ICT products and solutions in a System Integrator (SI) environment. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and establishing strong relationships with clients in the telecom sector. You will promote and sell our comprehensive range of solutions, including MPLS, SD-WAN, cloud storage and computing, cybersecurity, and colocations. This role requires a proactive "hunter" mentality, strong business development skills, and the ability to engage with clients at the C-level.?

Responsibilities:

Business Development and Sales:

  • Identify and target prospective clients in the telecom sector to expand our customer base.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Act as a "hunter," actively seeking out new business opportunities and driving sales growth.

Solution Selling:

  • Engage with clients to understand their telecom and ICT requirements, and present tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with presales and technical teams to design and propose comprehensive solutions that meet client needs.
  • Articulate the value proposition of our telecom solutions, including MPLS, SD-WAN, cloud services, cybersecurity, and colocations.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage client accounts, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery and implementation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape within the telecom sector.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a locally recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in selling ICT products and solutions, preferably within a System Integrator environment.
  • Proven track record of successful business development and sales in the telecom sector.
  • Strong understanding of telecom solutions, including MPLS, SD-WAN, cloud storage and computing, cybersecurity, and colocations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients at the C-level.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated ability to drive sales growth.
  • Familiarity with the Singapore telecom market and regulatory environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including presales, technical, and project management teams.
