AccorHotels recognises and rewards its top talent
Ever dreamt of flying to Paris or London all expenses paid for 5 days just to showcase how great you are at what you do and meet your peers from around the world? Well AccorHotels gives that opportunity to its top talent every year!
The AccorHotels' UNVEIL YOUR TALENT Worldwide Competition celebrates AccorHotels' best operational talent from hotels across the world and from various departments such as Front Office and Food & Beverage. They are brought together for a 48-hour intense experience in Europe during which individuals from different nations are teamed up to complete a list of challenges. At the end of the two days, these hotel-based teams will have to entertain 70 guests over an after-work event of their own design.
Ms Hannah Yiu, a contestant from our hotel in Hong Kong and whose team won last year’s competition held in Paris, France, shared with us her impression on competing at the 2016 Unveil Your Talent: “During the competition, we feel like an international family. Everyone in the team has their own character, yet we respected each other and understood that we are all from different cultures, having individual professional backgrounds and talents. This was also the main reason that helped us come up with inspiring ideas. It inspired me to be part of such a diverse team, and to learn to leverage on each other's strengths to get the best solution.”
“Everyone at AccorHotels has opportunities to learn and grow. I believe anyone is able to unveil their talent with passion for their work and be a super star!”
The 2017 edition of Unveil Your Talent will be held in London, UK from 24th to 27th October and we are very pleased to have 9 Asia Pacific representatives – from 8 different countries ranging in age (from 18 to 34), and skills (from a Chef to a Butler).
Stay tuned to find out who will be the winners of this year's competition!
