Updated Contract Summary

In Bulletin 71-2024, we provided Signatory Members with an updated Contract Summary, which contains the most commonly referred to work rules from the various general construction trades' collective bargaining agreements.

Certified Foreman & General Foreman Wage & Fringe Benefits - Laborers 172/472

As you know, the New Jersey Heavy Construction and General Laborers Local Nos. 172 & 472 have established a certified foreman training program. In Bulletin 69-2024, we distributed to Signatory Members wage rates and fringe benefits for those who successfully complete the program.

Veterans Day Holiday Provisions

In Bulletin 68-2024, we provided Signatory Members with holiday provisions for Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, 2024.

Election Day Holiday Provisions

In Bulletin 67-2024, we provided Signatory Members with holiday provisions for Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Summer Internship Program - Contractor Registration / Career Fair

In Bulletin 65-2024, we invited Active Members to join us for the CIAP Career Fair, scheduled for January 8, 2025. It will be held in-person at Forsgate Country Club, Monroe Twp., New Jersey. For more information, access the Bulletin in your Info Hub at accnj.org.

Tuition Reimbursement Program

As a reminder, in Bulletin 05-2024, we informed Active Members the ACCNJ Industry Advancement Trust (IAT) has approved the continuation of the Tuition Reimbursement Program for eligible, full-time employees of ACCNJ member firms that contribute to the IAT. The courses selected must be aimed at providing job-related knowledge and skills for construction personnel in either office or field operations. 811 Safety and Damage Prevention Process Survey 2024

As a reminder, AGC of America is conducting a survey intended to document the experience in the 811 safety and damage prevention process of AGC member contractors that work on heavy water/wastewater, highway heavy, telecom, gas transmission and distribution, or energy infrastructure projects. Survey data will be collected until Tuesday, November 12, 2024. The survey can be found?here?and is intended to be taken by all contractors who interact with their state 811 one-call notification system.

REMINDER: Autodesk Docs for AEC Collection Demystified

ACCNJ member ZenTek Consultants LLC is hosting an Autodesk course to show you how to reliably track and securely deliver your projects with tools that simplify project management and collaboration in the Autodesk Construction Cloud. This eight-hour program is delivered in four sessions that students can attend online. Classes take place from 11 AM - 1 PM every Wednesday beginning November 13, 2024.
