In Bulletin 23-2024, we provided Signatory Members with a Memorandum of Understanding for the new three-year Agreement reached between the Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey, Utility & Transportation Contractors Association and Laborers Local Nos. 172 & 472.

Safety Day 2024
In Bulletin 18-2024, we announced ACCNJ will once again host SAFETY DAY. This exceptional event will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2024, which coincides with Construction Safety Week and OSHA's Stand Down to Prevent Falls in Construction. Safety Council Meeting
In Bulletin 20-2024, we notified members ACCNJ will host its next Safety Council Meeting on April 12, 2024, at the Association Offices, Edison, NJ, 3rd floor conference room, at 11:30 AM. We will welcome Chris Lalevee, Business Agent for Operating Engineers Local 825, who will address “Real Issues in the Construction Industry,” regarding substance use and mental health. Fall Prevention in Construction Safety Training Program
In Bulletin 27-2024, we informed members ACCNJ and GBCA would be hosting AGC of America's Fall Prevention in Construction Safety Training Program on June 19 and 20, 2024, in Edison and Philadelphia, respectively. MarketCAST Q4 from Otteau Valuation Group
As you know, ACCNJ has commissioned quarterly MarketCAST reports from Jeff Otteau and the Otteau Valuation Group. In Bulletin 22-2024, we distributed the MarketCAST for Q4 2023, with data from the fourth quarter of last year and revised annual forecasts on construction spending through 2024.
ACCNJ was pleased to host a webinar in which Jeff Otteau provided an overview of the findings in the report and addressed the future construction outlook.

Education & Workforce Development
Tuition Reimbursement Program
As a reminder, in Bulletin 05-2024, we informed Active Members the ACCNJ Industry Advancement Trust (IAT) has approved the continuation of the Tuition Reimbursement Program for eligible, full-time employees of ACCNJ member firms that contribute to the IAT. The courses selected must be aimed at providing job-related knowledge and skills for construction personnel in either office or field operations. REMINDER: ACCNJ Sporting Clay Event

ACCNJ Golf Tournament and Dinner - SOLD OUT
ACCNJ's Annual Golf Tournament and Dinner will be held Monday, June 3, 2024, at Rockaway River Country Club. The day will consist of lunch, followed by golf, a dinner reception, and prizes. This event is SOLD OUT, however sponsorships and registrations for dinner are still being accepted. Visit the event page for more information.

Bluebeam Revu for Beginners
ACCNJ member ZenTek Consultants, a certified Bluebeam Partner, is offering an online course, "Bluebeam Revu for Beginners," for ACCNJ Active Members. This program is delivered in four, two-hour online sessions every Tuesday from 3-5pm beginning April 30. A live instructor will explain the detailed functions and address questions as the class progresses. Reach out for more information.
