In Case you Missed It..

ACCNJ hosted its Membership Meeting and Scholarship Luncheon at The Wilshire Grand Hotel in West Orange, NJ on June 11, 2024.We proudly awarded $75,000 in scholarships to six outstanding students. Congratulations to all recipients

On June 19, 2024, ACCNJ hosted a Fall Prevention in Construction Safety Training program, made available by the Associated General Contractors of America through OSHA's Susan Harwood Grant. Nearly 80 individuals gained valuable knowledge on OSHA standards and best practices.

Thank you to everyone who participated and especially AGC of America for the opportunity!

AGC of America


In the past year, AGC of America has hosted virtual member orientations to provide members with an overview of their member benefits and share opportunities for engagement. Initially, these sessions were promoted to new members only. However, they found that existing members and chapters also benefit from these meetings, so any member who is interested is welcome to participate.

The next member orientation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 2 PM. For more information, reach out to the Association Office.

Additional sessions will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 ?and Wednesday, November 13, 2024 .

Ironworkers Local 11 Wage & Fringe Benefits

In Bulletin 49-2024, we informed Signatory Members a new three-year agreement had been reached between the Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey and Ironworkers Local No.11 and distributed information regarding the July 1, 2024, Wage & Fringe Benefits.

Ironworkers Local 399 Wage & Fringe Benefits

In Bulletin 51-2024, we provided Signatory Members with July 1, 2024, Wage & Fringe Benefits for Ironworkers Local No. 399.

NJDOL Certified Payroll/NJ Wage Hub: In-Person Sessions

In Bulletin 45-2024, we invited Active Members to attend an Introduction and Registration Session with the NJDOL regarding the New Jersey Wage Hub. Sessions will be hosted July 2 & 17, 2024, at the ACCNJ offices in Edison. For more information, reach out to the Association Office.

NJDOT Design Build Seminar

The NJDOT will be implementing a Design Build Procurement method for a number of projects in the near future. Join the NJDOT on Friday, July 12, 2024, 9 AM, at Forsgate Country Club, for an industry workshop to prepare for this new project delivery method. Visit the event page to register.

REMINDER: Safety Council Meeting & Annual Safety Awards

In Bulletin 41-2024, we informed members ACCNJ will host its next Safety Council Meeting on July 12, 2024, at the Association offices, Edison, NJ at 8:30am, at which time we will present our 2023 safety awards and our annual Mike Corbett Safety Award. 2024 NJ Governor's Occupational Safety and Health Awards

Since 1927, the Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health Awards Program has played an important role in promoting safer and healthier workplaces in New Jersey.

ACCNJ MarketCAST

As commissioned by ACCNJ, Jeff Otteau and the Otteau Valuation Group have issued the next quarterly report on New Jersey’s construction activity. In Bulletin 48-2024, we distributed MarketCAST for Q1 2024 with data from the first quarter of this year and annual forecasts on construction spending.

Tuition Reimbursement Program

As a reminder, in Bulletin 05-2024, we informed Active Members the ACCNJ Industry Advancement Trust (IAT) has approved the continuation of the Tuition Reimbursement Program for eligible, full-time employees of ACCNJ member firms that contribute to the IAT. The courses selected must be aimed at providing job-related knowledge and skills for construction personnel in either office or field operations. ACCNJ Blueprint Reading Courses - July Courses SOLD OUT!

As a reminder, ACCNJ is hosting several Blueprint Reading courses. Although July courses are SOLD OUT, a waiting list is available.

In Memoriam

It is with deep regret we inform you of the passing of Joseph F. Fox Sr., 93, on June 26, 2024. Joseph worked with Conduit & Foundation Constructors and served as President of the AGC of New Jersey from 1997 to 1999.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Shelly Funeral Home, 5930 Easton Rd, Pipersville, PA 18947) and on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM (St. John the Baptist Church, 4050 Durham Rd, Ottsville, PA 18942). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church.

Bluebeam Revu for Takeoff & Estimating

ACCNJ member ZenTek Consultants, a certified Bluebeam Partner, is offering an online course, "Bluebeam Revu for Takeoff and Estimating," for Active Members. This program is delivered in four, two-hour online sessions. ?A live instructor will explain the detailed functions and address questions as the class progresses. Responsibilities include assisting with training and monitoring of the safety performance of personnel, planning and coordinating work to minimize risks, conducting daily safety compliance inspections and evaluations, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
