As a tribute to the late Mike Corbett, CAS for Federal OSHA, who devoted years to making the construction industry a better, safer place, ACCNJ presented its second annual “Mike Corbett Memorial Safety Award” to Francis Mulhall from IEW, at ACCNJ’s Safety Council Meeting. As a 30-year member of the Laborers’ International Union of North America and current Laborers Local 472 foreman, she joined IEW in 2010. During her 13 years with IEW she has been a key element of their field supervision team on many heavy-civil, sitework, and roadway projects for owners including NJ DOT, New Jersey Turnpike Authority and New Jersey Transit.

Francis, was nominated for her ardent approach to workplace safety, communicating in a passionate and direct manner, with zero tolerance for compromise.

?ACCNJ congratulates Francis on this well-deserved award.?
