  • SAP Solution Manager 7.2
  • Focused Build and Focused Insights 2.0 for SAP Solution Manager
  • SAP S/4HANA 1909
  • SAP NetWeaver 7.5
  • SAP HANA, platform edition 2.0

Accessing the system

The SAP S/4HANA System can be accessed via below methods

  1. SAP GUI/Logon Pad
  2. SAP Fiori Launchpad

1. SAP Logon/GUI

1.2.0 Install SAP Logon/GUI

1.2.1 Download and Install SAP Logon from?"SAP GUI/SAP Logon".

1.2.2 Extract the SAP GUI.ZIP file and navigate to?SAP GUI—> BD_NW_7.0_Presentation_7.70_Comp._1_ — >PRES1—>GUI—>Windows—>Win32 —>SAPGuiSetup.


1.2.3 Follow the onscreen instructions and install by selecting all components of SAP GUI as show in the below screenshot

1.3 How to add system to SAP Logon/GUI

1.3.1 Once It it is installed, Open the SAP Logon from?Windows—>Start—>SAP Front End—>SAP Logon

2. SAP FIORI Launchpad Access

To log on to SAP Fiori Launchpad from your local PC you need to modify your local?hosts?file. The following describes how to modify the local hosts file on a Windows computer

2.1 Updating the local hosts file:

2.1.1 Open?Notepad?as administrator (search for?Notepad?on your computer > Right mouse click > Run as administrator):

2.1.2 Click?File→Open?and enter the following path

C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\        

2.1.3 Ensure to select?All Files (*.*)

2.1.4 add the following lines in?hosts?file
